Jim Spira, past Land Conservancy Board Chair, is widely regarded as an expert in developing and implementing winning competitive strategies. With a deep understanding and extensive experience with successful change initiatives, he is an agent for positive transformation in complex organizations, from mid-market to Fortune 500. Jim currently serves as the chairman of three firms: Point To Point, a Cleveland based business-to-business marketing strategy and communications firm; BluShift Strategy, a strategy consultancy, also based in Cleveland; and Herman-Scheer, a Los Angeles based branding and marketing agency.
He is the principal of Spira + Company, a management consulting firm with offices in Cleveland and Los Angeles. From 2008 to 2012, Jim served as chairman of enlight Advisors LLC, a strategy consulting firm based in Cleveland.
Jim serves on a number of corporate boards and is committed to volunteerism and community service. Jim and his wife of 53 years, Myrna, are natives of Cleveland and had two grown children and have seven grandchildren. Jim holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Hobart College.
