Christopher D. Hess

Chris Hess is director of public affairs for Eaton Corporation and specializes in state and federal government and regulatory affairs for the global power management company. He represents the company before the U.S. Congress, the executive branch and various federal agencies. Previously, Hess was director of government advocacy for the Greater Cleveland Partnership, one of the largest regional Chambers of Commerce in the United States. In his role, he helped direct the legislative initiatives that enabled the construction of the Cleveland Medical Mart, helped manage the campaign initiative that permitted runway expansion at Cleveland Hopkins Airport and teamed with civic leaders for the retention of the Defense Finance and Accounting Services Agency in Cleveland. From 1994 to 2000, Chris worked for U.S. Rep. Steve LaTourette in roles that included campaign manager, district director and deputy chief of staff.  A graduate of the University of Mount Union, he lives in Medina with his wife Ellen and their three young sons.
