What We Do

We create and expand parks and preserves throughout Northeast Ohio. We partner with public and private landowners to place permanent protections on their land, whether it may be a beautiful natural area, a working family farm, or a site with historical significance. We restore blighted urban properties into useable greenspaces, improving neighborhoods and greening cities.

Who We Are

Western Reserve Land Conservancy is one of the largest land trusts in the nation, formed in 2006 by the largest merger of land trusts in U.S. history. Our mission is to provide the people of our region with essential natural assets through land conservation and restoration. We envision thriving, prosperous communities nourished by vibrant natural lands, working farms, and healthy cities.
