At Western Reserve Land Conservancy, we are driven by a vision of thriving, prosperous communities nourished by vibrant natural lands, working farms and healthy cities. So with this vision in mind, we will be moving forward with the 10th annual Ohio Land Bank Conference virtually in order to minimize the risk of COVID-19 to our staff and valued partners.

We hope you will still join land bank board members and staff, county and municipal officials, community and economic development officers, community development corporations and all those interested in re-purposing vacant and abandoned properties and revitalizing our neighborhoods at our virtual conference on Wednesday, September 23 and Thursday, September 24, 2020.

This year's conference will be held in memory of Robin Darden Thomas. Robin served Cuyahoga County for over 28 years in various capacities including Director of Operations (Auditor's Office), Chief Deputy Treasurer, and Interim County Treasurer. For the past nine years, she served Western Reserve Land Conservancy as the Land Bank Program Director. Robin was a dedicated mother and grandmother and was cherished by all who knew her. She loved to travel and her destinations were vast including Japan, Thailand, Italy, Scotland, Alaska and Hawaii. Robin was an avid reader, loved growing orchids, supported local arts and crafts festivals and the Cleveland Playhouse Theater community. She was also an advocate for civil rights and the LGBTQ community. As many of you know, Robin had a direct hand in helping establish over 50 land banks in Ohio. We will continue the important work she was so passionate about in her honor.
