Graduation season is here! Our Spring 2021 Class of Sherwick Tree Stewards will soon join the ranks of committed and passionate alumni who have dedicated their time and resources to help rebuild a healthy tree canopy in and around Cleveland. This class is unlike any other – stay-at-home orders and social distancing guidelines meant this class experienced 4 of their training sessions virtually. In combination with their two in-person labs, they have demonstrated the skills and knowledge to succeed in young tree care and planting. We are proud of what they have accomplished and hope you will join us in celebrating their official recognition as Tree Stewards.
The graduation features an exclusive sneak peek at a new urban greenspace in Old Brooklyn that will open next month, Brighton Park. Western Reserve Land Conservancy and our partners have poured years of work into turning this former landfill into a beautiful landmark, just steps away from the Cleveland Zoo and the Towpath Trail. We are excited to welcome our graduating and alumni tree stewards to this space and celebrate the importance of trees.
Your input is important to us as we re-launch our Sherwick Tree Steward Program. Graduation will include a session for Tree Stewards to provide feedback on the program as we plan for the future.

Parking: Street parking is available along Henninger Road. We also always encourage carpooling, bike riding, walking and taking public transit.
