Nature Field Day for Kids – May 15

May 15, 2021

Let’s #GetOutsideOhio! Young explorers will join naturalists for an adventure in the field. Each group will spend a half day hiking under majestic trees in a forest along the Chagrin River. What lives under the log? What climbs up the trees? Which birds fly through the treetops? There’s always something new to learn in nature. Help us discover what is living in the woods.

Western Reserve Land Conservancy is preparing to offer more nature-based educational opportunities for people of all ages. Nature Field Day for Kids is a pilot program being offered to members. We plan to offer similar programming this summer.

The rain date for this event will be May 22.

Registrants will be contacted in the event of weather-related changes. All Western Reserve Land Conservancy events respect CDC guidelines and social distancing.

Instructors: Judy Semroc, Interpretive Naturalist and Renee Boronka, Manager of Conservation Education

Fee: $15/child. Free for accompanying parent/guardian.

Location: Directions will be sent to registrants. The preserve we will explore is in Chagrin Falls, OH (address provided upon registration).

Advanced registration is required. One parent or guardian is required to join their child on the field day.

Registration for this event is now closed.
