Volunteer Opportunity: Grand River Cleanup

May 19 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join us for a unique volunteer event! Canoe or kayak along the wild & scenic Grand River while gathering unwanted waste along the way. We have found tires, beds, and many treasures during our 18 years of cleaning up the river. Who knows what you will pull out this year?!

This event will happen rain or shine. If weather and river conditions are unsafe, we will hike local trails and cleanup waste and invasive species.

Spots in canoes are limited. First to register will be the first assigned to a spot in the river. We will fill up fast! If you do not get a spot, we will put you on a wait list and assign you to hike local trails with a Land Conservancy staff member. Only those ages 14 & up are permitted on the water. All volunteers are required to sign a waiver on the day of this event. (Click to preview the waiver)
