Art Show by Geauga Shutterbugs Photo Club

August 7 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us to experience The Geauga County Shutterbugs art work at Western Reserve Land Conservancy! The Geauga County Shutterbugs is a photo club that meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Chardon branch of the Geauga County Library. The members span the range from beginning photographers to very advanced and talented artists. The club is open to all – click here for more information.

Artist’s Statement:
“Diversity can mean many things – and the diverse members of the Geauga Shutterbugs each have their own unique eye for interest and beauty in a photo. The very same subject produces startlingly different images when a photo is created by two different different photographers. Nature and man-made objects each have their own story to be captured by the person that perceives the image.

In this sampling of the work of a number of photographers, you can browse for the ones that please your eye – or deeply touch a place in your soul.

The Shutterbugs support each other’s work, with caring critique and suggestions – and even a healthy competition now and then. We believe the results of this nurturing environment are apparent in the images shown.”

The Shutterbug’s work will be on display at Western Reserve Land Conservancy from July 29, 2019 until September 27, 2019. The Land Conservancy’s Conservation Center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 5 PM.

Please join us for a reception with the artist on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 5 – 7 PM. Wine and light hors d’oeuvres provided. Casual attire.
