Description:

We're looking for gold in the Vermilion River! Guided by Grand Thompson, Lorain County Metro Park nauralist and chair of the Land Conservancy's Firelands Chapter, participants will have a chance to try their hand at panning for gold and learn a little bit about the river. Please wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet. Gold panning equipment will be provided. The event is free and open to the public, donations always appreciated to help cover event costs.
